From the recording Waterloo Sunset
Never released previously.........We recorded this at Matrix Studios, London in 1981. Jim (vocals/acoustic gtr), Neil Aplin (lead gtr), Lino Robinson (keyboards), Duncan Reid (bass gtr) and Paul Tully (drums). Jim ran into Ray Davies at his local supermarket in Marylebone High St a couple of weeks later......and said to the great Kink man....'we've just recorded your song' ......he replied......'who hasn't!'. Think he wasn't in a good mood!
